Hardware
The cabvision hardware is a custom design solution running an Embedded Microsoft Windows XP operating system. The PC enclosure has been specifically designed to be housed in the TX I/II cabs and is linked to 12.1 TFT screen again in a custom housing. The system is controlled by two cabvision handsets in the arms of the main seats.
Software
The cabvision system runs proprietary CabServe software designed and built specifically for Cabvision. The software handles the complex scheduling of the content playback, live monitoring of the cab systems and interfaces with a CRM solution designed to give full visibility of all the content usage.

In addition to this Cabvision is pioneering the use of DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) to send content to the fleet of cabs. This always on solution allows cabs to receive content 24/7 via a custom designed hardware and software platform.
