Cabvision reaches over 1 million London Black Taxi users per month per 1000 Taxis. Cabvision Network Ltd will have approximately 2000 screens by London 2012 thereby doubling current viewing figures. Cabvision has undergone a complete redesign taking into account comments and suggestions from passengers and advertisers.
There are still multiple channels available for individual companies and brands to directly engage the audience. These channels will default on rota allowing each channel to showcase upon entry to the cab. We will also be offering brands the opportunity to buy channels on a seasonal basis, for instance showcasing shopping centres and department stores in November and December for Christmas.
The main default channel which is in magazine format and made up of London centric information and images is called Know London. Each feature lasts between 40 seconds and 2 minutes and is distinctly visual allowing the passenger the freedom to relax, work or chat without high volume or overt dialogue intrusion.
